Entrepreneurship is a bold venture for any investor to get involved in, and creating a successful
business requires a massive amount of effort in terms of undertaking. The advancing technologies in
the field of engineering have long broken the barriers of subject and jobs in concerned spheres. The
professionals are no more confined to working in a specified field without having to confront trade
issues. Emphasizing the need for the students looking upon entrepreneurship as a career option to
fetch a substantial understanding of the concepts of the same, the IEEE Hyderabad Section in
collaboration with IEEE Young Professionals and IEEE GRIET SB conducted a talk on
“Entrepreneurship” by Mr. Anil Nair.Mr. Anil Nair is budding entrepreneur, a team leader, a teacher, and a researcher with a focused attempt on bringing a change in the education system of the country. He has pursued engineering from Osmania University and works as a self employed career launcher with two years of experience. Mr. Nair is known to be an extraordinary orator with a great mastery over merchandising. The session began at 2:00 p.m. at GRIET with an ExeCom member introducing the speaker to an audience of 115 students and a few teaching professionals. Mr. Anil Nair began the talk by
introducing himself to the audience and briefing them about the ups and downs in his career.The speaker expressed firm views against having a one-sided talk. He insisted the attendees to interacts with him and pose questions, the answers to which would constitute the talk content. This new technique was appreciated by the audience and has also served the purpose of instilling proper knowledge of business into their minds.The speaker responded to a prompt that asks the students to craft unique business idea and discussed about the related market factors. The speaker ensured to keep caught the attention of
the listeners by presenting apt instances from his own experiences. As the saying goes “View life as a continuous learning experience.” The event was quite knowledgeable and the speaker succeeded in conveying the characteristics and
traits that determine what an entrepreneur is, why people choose to become entrepreneur and skills that make an entrepreneur successful. The talk concluded with Dr. Y. Vijayalata honouring the speaker for his valuable talk. The organizing team is delighted to have received a positive feedback which is very encouraging.
